We ordered the Xiao Long Bao, or soupy dumplings, which were not as soupy as I've had elsewhere and were a bit larger than my preference; I believe they should be one-bite portions. The filling was quite delicious, but I would have preferred the dipping sauce to include some ginger rather than having it mixed into the filling. The Chicken Egg Rolls were wonderfully crispy and packed with flavor. The Scallion Pancakes were light and crisp, which was a delightful surprise, though I wished they had included more in each order! The Chicken Lettuce Wraps had great flavor, but the filling was slightly on the salty side; however, when wrapped in lettuce, they were just right. The service left so...

The soup dumplings are a huge hit, and it's no surprise—they were simply amazing! The dishes were packed with flavor, and the service was top-notch. My only minor issue was the wobbly table we were seated at, which kept tipping. I thought the Mao's pork would be my favorite, with its generous pieces of pork belly and garlic, but the Mongolian beef pleasantly surprised me with its incredible taste, making it hard to pick a favorite. For dessert, we ordered the fortune cookie cheesecake, which I initially thought would just be cheesecake topped with crushed fortune cookies. However, it turned out to be much more imaginative. It had a crust made from fortune cookies that was truly flavorful, a...

A great Asian fusion dining experience! We shared an order brown rice with of pork belly and pineapple and combo dumplings (pork, shrimp, and veggie), and garlic steamed Chinese bok choy. Everything was hot and fresh, so delicious. It was a humid day, so we sat indoors, while there was a lot of patio seating that was also dog-friendly ????. The atmosphere was clean, bright and colorful, and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I was surprised to see a full bar, noticed some great weekday happy hour specials. This place was nestled in a cool little cluster of eateries we plan to check out again. Definitely worth the trip to downtown Dallas!!

Came here on St. Patrick?s day with my best friend! We each ordered drinks, she had a green dragon and i had the lychee tea. My drink was so strong per the menu but tasted amazing (dangerous lol) and her drink was surprisingly yummy to me. we got edamame and it was really good. i?m plant-based and was so happy to see all of their vegan and vegetarian options. the ma po tofu was so yummy and a great portion for the price! I was able to walk away with leftovers. Our server Dre was super attentive but I could tell they were supper busy. Glad to see this place is doing well, I plan on coming back! Book a table now

The food at Sum Dang Good was outstanding—affordable, generous portions, and it came out quickly! We shared the combo dumplings, and for my main course, I added beef to the Szechuan string beans. I appreciated how they accommodated my request without imposing excessive charges, which is often a problem elsewhere when it comes to modifying dishes. It was absolutely delicious! The service was both attentive and friendly, and the cocktails were beautifully served. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely return the next time I’m in Dallas.

I have been past this place several times and never ate here. So today I decided to give it a try. The service was good. I did not have to wait long to be seated. They do have outdoor seating available. My server was very attentive. The food was very tasty. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and veggie egg rolls. If you want shrimp without any sweet or spicy flavoring, the salt and pepper shrimp are your best choice. However, I added a splash of duck sauce to my shrimp and rice. Overall, enjoyed it and I will definitely dine here again.

My hubby and I went here for dinner and we do really like it! Food is yummy, service was great and food came out super fast. The pork buns were great but a tiny bit dry on the inside. The reason I?m not giving 5 stars is because I feel like I?ve gotten amazinggg take out Chinese food for way less coin. But they do have an awesome ambience l, so I definitely recommend sitting on the covered patio if the weather permits. Book a table now
