We were here at lunch with several colleagues Essen and ordered a few mazzes for lunch and I can't say anything else, there was the best Syrian/oriental food (I like and more often what I have ever had in Germany and Europe and still in a small city like Unna, an absolutely positive surprise! Special features, wishes or restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, etc.) were asked during the order and it felt food for the double number of guests. This was excellent by the bank, fresh, homemade, created with love and presented (pictures here authentic and for each dish was taken the time and explained to us what it is and how it is called. The services were generally very attentive and very friendly. And...
The look is very appealing, also the atmosphere with oriental music. We weren't bad when the bill came... We've only eaten vegetarian, so lentils, wort... no high-quality ingredients like lamb or fish... When we had to pay almost 55€ for two people, including a small cola and a peppermint tea, we found it quite remarkable! The shares should be slightly larger for these prices. We will be happy to come back because of the beautiful atmosphere, but with the orders we will take a lot back next time.
Hello Team SUMAK, we made a culinary journey yesterday with you. Since we had to order our food from COVID19, we were very pleasantly surprised. The dishes were presented very nicely and have tasted excellently. Price is fine. Go on. Keep it healthy. Thank you for this very positive taste experience.
Really cozy, very friendly service, really delicious food, very much for vegetarians. Why only 4 stars? The wine is clearly too expensive (also not a wine cooler with white wine), some prices seem to me to be a bit too expensive. Except for these things: I like to come back!

Nice place, nice personal, tastefully very good all digs, the portions could be slightly larger or the prices around 1 or 2 euros lower. Because it's a kind of tapas. Otherwise recommended
We picked the restaurant spontaneously and we were very happy about it. The selection was very tasty, the service was very friendly and at the end a mocha with kardamon.... Thank you.

Great! I've never eaten oriental. Costs a little more than I'm used to, but you can enjoy it in between!
