Stayed for 3 days at the Villa. My hotel review was that the hotel experience was excellent with great staff, spectacular views, nice rooms. Issue was food. Because it's remote, you really have no options re dining. First dinner was 50/50. Wife had salmon which...she thought was excellent. I had weiner schnitzel apparently an old family recipe. I could have used the schnitzel as a Frisbee and thrown it through the window it was so dry and tough. If I cooked this my mother would gave disowned me. Wife prices are outrageous. They have a 300 percent markup before tax making your $30 bottle of wine worth $140 after tax. Stupid. Next night I decided to order the 12 oz. rib eye for $64. Figuring t...

The views from Alpina at the Aerie are undoubtedly spectacular. Service is good, as is the food albeit overpriced, particularly considering this resort has a captive audience with no food and beverage competition in striking distance. The wine prices however left most of us (a...large family group) utterly gobsmacked. Unnecessary and frankly off putting. We will not be returning any time soon. Gouging is never acceptable.

Went for brunch with my wife for the second Sunday in a row The salmon/avocado eggs benny were absolutely wonderful, best I ever had. Price for drinks is a little steep compared to other places. The view is magnificent so try for a window set....They were short wait staff so the service was lacking this week, last week it was not so busy and the service was bang on.

We had been to Alpina Restaurant several times before pandemic and our experience was great. However, post pandemic our experience was shocking. The staff was very rude and racist. We did not end up having brunch at this place. I do not recommend this place...anymore.
