Following recommendations on local social media, we gave this takeaway a try and have now enjoyed several deliveries from them. It is actually now called the New Sunbury Chinese. Ordering and paying on their website is really easy and it remembers your previous orders, which is handy. Delivery isn’t of course instant but it does come well within the wait time advised when you order, and the delivery drivers are very pleasant. Hubby always has dumplings and duck, and is very happy with these, and for me as a vegetarian there is a huge amount of choice so I’m having a different thing each time and working my way through everything on the menu! We tried New Sunbury Chinese takeaway for the first time after their menu came through our door. The chow mein and dry spare ribs were ok to be fair, but the pork chop suey and crispy shredded chilli beef were very disappointing. Both had the same incredibly sugary sauce which made the dishes inedible. We know Chinese food tends to be mostly fried and sweetish but this was the extreme. We couldn't see any beef in the shredded chilli beef so we assumed it was a ready made frozen produce just deep fried. Also no cheery/ friendly communication when I collected the food. The staff and food just didn't make us want to go there again.
Just used this place for the first time and I was amazed at the speed of delivery, quantity of the food and most importantly the quality of the food. Certainly the best delivery Chinese I have ever had. I can’t wait to try some other dishes off the menu, but can strongly recommend the Singapore Chowmein
We usually go for a different Chinese but this was recommended by a friend and they didn’t disappoint. Very good quality, very good taste, very quick at fulfilling our order, and the prawn roasts in particular were excellent. Enough to make us consider this next time we want a chinese
