Sundag Bakery and Konditorei (a almost untranslatable German word, the closest is "cake shop)" is in business since 1891; from the web site I learn that it has evolved into a local chain of shops. In a German Konditorei you can get everything from bread, coffee, tea, any selection of cake, rolls, simple lunches etc. This branch of Sundag in the center of Nordhorn we encountered while walking into Nordhorn center after parking the car. As breakfast was overdue, we stepped into the shop and ordered breakfast at the counter. For about 6 Euro each we got a large plate with rolls, butter, homemade preserves, cheese, meat and fried eggs. And a large mug of coffee on the side. Sundag turned out to...
