I highly recommend avoiding Sunnyside Cafe! The customer service I experienced was extremely disappointing. When I inquired about my bill, my server, Gina, reacted aggressively. It's simply unacceptable to have two different prices for the same item on the menu and charge the higher one. She claimed it was a misprint and insisted they had to go by what the computer says. That’s not a valid excuse! They should either honor the lower price listed or update their menus accordingly. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and it’s not right for a server to confront a customer and then bring in another staff member for backup.
This is a really good place for breakfast and lunch (they don't do dinner), with a good menu and good food. Portions are generous but not crazy... although the omelettes are fairly large. Nothing fancy, just a nice relaxed place when you're in themood for breakfast or diner-style lunches. You won't find any bad food (not in my experience, anyway)... they've done quite wellsince opening in this former Friendly's, which is impressive, as restaurants in Randolph have been vanishing in recentyears. If you're in the food for an easy-going, unpretentious place with good simple food, you'll probably be glad you chose totry it.
At first sight, this restaurant appears to be an ordinary diner with a conventional menu, but it is truly remarkable. If I lived nearer, I would come here weekly. Although it requires a bit of a journey, it is absolutely worth it. They prepare their own Greek sausage, which reminds my Greek friend of her homeland. The omelets are delightful, and the bread is either freshly baked on-site or sourced from an expert supplier. This hidden treasure deserves to be packed every single day.
Service was great, food was awesome, really enjoyed the Greek horizon omelet with grilled English muffin, my family enjoyed breakfast as well.
