We tried several dishes at Sunshine Kebab And Grill: chicken kebabs ($2 each), chicken samosas and rolls ($2 each), fish pakoras ($14 per pound), chicken 65 ($14 for 24 oz), and chicken tikka masala ($14 for 24 oz). The kebabs were served with a yogurt dipping sauce. Keep in mind that everything needs to be reheated when you get home, but the flavors were overall quite enjoyable. The chicken samosas and rolls could have used a bit more spice. I also noticed a significant amount of red food coloring in the chicken tikka masala, as my fingers turned orange after eating, almost like stained with henna. The restaurant was busy, but two staff members quickly attended to us when the line grew long...
I rarely write reviews, but I have to share my experience here. If I could give Sunshine Kebab And Grill zero stars, I would. My friend and I ordered chicken biryani, and I discovered a metal nail in the rice. They did offer to replace the dish, but I couldn't bring myself to eat there again, especially since the food tasted stale. On top of that, they don’t even provide water for customers, which was really disappointing. I paid for my meal out of respect, but I will definitely not be coming back. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for Indian food—this place is unsafe.
I was really disappointed with my recent experience. All the food arrived cold, as if it had just been taken out of the refrigerator. The rice in the chicken biryani tasted off, and the potatoes in the pakora were undercooked. Unfortunately, I had to throw away all the food and only received an $8 refund from DoorDash. This meant I had to make dinner late at night, which I had been trying to avoid. I'm dissatisfied with both DoorDash and the restaurant.
On November 3, 2022, I spent $43 on food. Unfortunately, the goat biryani was very spoiled. I called the restaurant and spoke to the person who served me. She mentioned that food can spoil sometimes and offered me a discount for my next visit. However, the lady was incredibly rude during our conversation.

The food was terrible. I wanted to order chicken karahi, but they told me there was no chef available to make it. So, I opted for chicken korma instead, but it had absolutely no flavor and I couldn’t eat it. The chicken biryani was dry as well. I definitely do not recommend this place.
This restaurant serves mouthwatering food at affordable prices! I strongly recommend trying the naan, kebabs, Chicken 65, fish pakora, garlic naan, samosa chaat, and sesame naan. It's a bustling location in Hillside, New York, but it's absolutely worth a visit!
They ordered two naans and two servings of sheesh kebab, but only received one naan and one kebab. I can't depend on them.
