We had my daughter 's baptism celebration here on November 11 and the service was absolutely superb. This post comes a little late but my husband and I are so grateful to the staff for a wonderful day. From the seating arrangement in the courtyard (We had a party of 40 and two lots of two tables were arranged so that all my guests could comfortably speak to one another), to the discussions about the menu prior to the event, the flexibility of the chef, the welcoming nature of all of the staff and of course, affordability everything was great! We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday at this restaurant with a large group, including many kids. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. It was great value for money. We stayed for a long time and never felt rushed or pressured to leave. The kids had a great time playing in the cubby house and using the trikes and bikes provided. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The management and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The food was superb, with the best chips in Melbourne. The retro decor was lovely and the value for money was great. There was ample parking and the service was quick. The courtyard dining option was awesome. I couldn't find any faults with this place.
Just stopped by to check it out and I loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the $10 chicken, tomato and white-bean stew served with turkish bread and it was delicious! The atmosphere is relaxed and it is great to see how they have transformed it from a run-down, old petrol station to a new, trendy restaurant. I will recommend it for sure :

Love it! Since recently moving into the area I have eaten at SS both at the restaurant and take away and each time I have really enjoyed my meal. Kept reading that the fish burger was the best, tried it tonight and it was delicious- lots of condiments so it wasn't dry like some burgers you get. Best desserts in town. Yum
Love love love Sunshine Social! We order from here regularly to get our fix of the delicious food on offer. The burgers are my personal favourites, but a big shout-out to the freekeh salad which is to die for! Beautiful atmosphere, super-friendly staff and great service. It's the best in the west!
Had the fried chicken burger which was hands down one of the best I've had. Nice selection of craft beers. This is gonna be a great spot for a summer session. Still a few months away from having the liquor license for serving alcohol outside but still a great spot
Service very good, food was ample and delicious. I ordered the calamari with a side of slaw. Calamari was tender and scrumptious! My partner ordered pork ribs and chips. His pork fell away from the bone; very tender and he loved it! Will definitely return
