I love love love H Mart. It is truly life changing. I love that it has such a variety of various asian foods, not just Korean. The selection is just wonderful and the produce is sometimes often the best I can find in any grocery store. The H Mart in Niles is usually pretty quiet and I've come at various times and days before. It's extremely easy to navigate as well as it's extremely organized, well stocked, and clean. There are lots of employees roaming around and constantly stocking shelves so help is never too far away. This has become my go to spot for any meats I'm planning on cooking for a nice homemade asian meal. The thin sliced meats are just unbeatable in my opinion.
This isn't my first visit here, but it's my first time writing a Google Review for this place! I’ve been coming since they opened. It’s a great one-stop shop for everything Asian, including dining options. They offer fresh produce, meats, seafood, and a variety of prepared foods. There are also beauty salons and small independent shops located near the entrance and exit. While the large market might seem overwhelming to some, the staff and vendors in the various shops are friendly and always willing to help with any questions. Keep in mind that the market can get quite busy, so it’s a good idea to check for off-peak times if you prefer a more relaxed experience.
I was absolutely shocked on how big this store was and the variety of foods that I can't buy at most other stores! It was truly a treat to shop here and definitely worth the drive to the larger location! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for all types of different Asian foods! They also carry a generous amount of American staples as well. Warning though if you don't like the smell of fish be prepared for the seafood department they have tons of fish displayed on the sales floor for easy access to customers.
I love Joong boo. And this one is on the larger side compared to other Hmarts and Joong Boos. They have plenty of variety including fresh seafood/sashimi, fresh pre-made Korean good, produce, frozen foods, and of course all the ramems. Prices are ok. They have tons of other restaurants inside the building but I don't see many people use them much. I would love to see better prices but they are fine when compared to other large Asian grocery stores with this much variety and selection.

I had a disappointing experience at the HMart in Niles. The customer service was nonexistent; it felt like they didn't care about their customers at all. I was sold a terrible old red snapper fillet, which felt like a waste of my time, money, and effort. The ambiance was misleading and did not reflect the service or quality. I won't be returning!
This place is enormous! It definitely offers a wider variety of items compared to the one in the city, and it’s also very well-kept. They have almost every Asian grocery item I need—except for natto. I spent quite a while searching for natto but couldn’t find any, which was quite disappointing.
This grocery store is fantastic, offering a wide variety of food options. Their seafood and meat selections are high quality, featuring choices you won't find anywhere else. The bakery is exceptional, with delicious and top-notch pastries. Plus, there's even Hello Kitty toilet paper!
This place is fantastic! I could easily spend an entire day here enjoying the food, admiring the dishes, and indulging again and again. I especially love the Korean facial masks; I always make sure to grab a few on my way out and use them weekly at home.
