As a returning customer, I am disappointed with the quality of the chicken we were given. Came in at 11:30am Sunday, they gave us quickly heated up a day-old teriyaki chicken. How do I know? The top and outer parts of the chicken were very dry. I cook all the time at home and would know this. When freshly grilled, all parts are supposed to be moist. Perhaps we are the first customers of the day, but take note that people notice these subtle differences in quality.
The food at this restaurant is consistently good. My wife and I visited their first location in the UTC area on their opening day, or at least I believe it was their first location. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they were offering free meals that day. As someone from Hawaii, I was thrilled to have a taste of that familiar cuisine again, and I especially loved their delicious sauce. I recently ordered from them for dinner again tonight.
The Chicken Teriyaki at this restaurant is outstanding! The chicken is tender and very flavorful, and the Teriyaki sauce is perfect. I have yet to find another restaurant that makes a cabbage salad as delicious as theirs. It's fresh and the dressing is light. You must give this place a try.
