We would have loved to dine by the water, but since we were staying in a nearby cabin, it was convenient to pick up a nice dinner after a long afternoon of traveling. Everything we had was delicious and well-prepared. We tried the beef and udon noodles with vegetables, which were very flavorful, though they were a bit too peppery for my taste. If I ordered it again, I would ask for a milder version. Overall, it’s a great choice for a special meal in cottage country when you prefer something other than barbecue or pizza.
My Mother and Uncle went there after a day of golf Friday around 5pm and they didn't have a reservation. They were super busy so they were understanding of the service. Wasn't particularly great but wasn't bad. They spent over $100 on sushi, sashimi and kimchi. The kimchi was not what was expected, very little pieces of Napa and just shaved radish. The sushi tasted a bit off and my mother and uncle ended up in the bathroom and hotel for the rest of the weekend. Writing this review on her behalf as she sits beside me.
Had a great experience at Sushi by the Water. Peter and his staff were very welcoming. The service was prompt and professional (took care to make sure there was appropriate social distancing cleanliness). The sushi was fresh all the rolls were delicious! The crab sushi pizza was tasty and crispy. A great spot to dine on the water a welcome addition to Muskoka.
Came in the off season and was told they are short staffed, no problem. Sushi tasted like it was several days old even though we were the only people in the entire restaurant. They don't serve water there, you have to buy a water bottle which I thought was ridiculous. View is great but being extremely over priced and several days old, I won't be back. Book a table now

Fresh sushi with a gorgeous view! What more do you want? Ordered Spicy tuna roll, crunch dragon, salmon sushi pizza. Very Friendly service. Waiter recommended Asahi Dry Black which was so good unexpectedly crisp for a dark beer. Will definitely visit again if in the area!
Great spot for sushi in the area, it's a cute quaint restaurant with a limited but great menu. We had the orange dragon roll, rainbow roll, double crab roll and spicy salmon pizza, all were great portions.
