I've lived in the Commerce/Walled Lake area for 5 years now. I must say that there are only two sushi restaurants in a 10 mile radius that I would eat at with the next best stop being in West Bloomfield. For some reason sushi and other Asian cuisines around Commerce, Walled Lake and Novi are just not good. I discovered Sushi Den early in my time living here and they are one of the good ones. I was happy to find a great sushi restaurant in my area without having to drive to other joints further away in metro Detroit. They are really good and really fresh. Their menu is very basic, but that is not such a bad thing because their top notch quality makes up for it.
Their food is great and very traditional. At least, I would say relatively much authentic than others. Especially, raw seafood is very fresh and the fried pork is so great!!
Sushi Den has some of the best sushi in the area! It’s fresh and at a great price. Not only is the sushi great but the other dishes that they offer are amazing as well!
Best sushi around. You have to make sure they're open... special hours. Waiting staff didn't understand my order this time, but usually really good.
