First of all, the name of the place is IORI, not Lori. Service was good and so was the food. Not a lot of difference between these sushi places in the valley. Unless you want to pay the big bucks for the real deal in Vancouver (where you can eat non-frozen fresh fish), you need to be satisfied with the typical sushi restaurants you find in every corner of every town in the Lower Mainland. I would go back to Iori.
The sushi is good and generously sized. The older gentleman doing the serving is cantankerous and inconsiderate. Those are not the qualities of a food server. More likely he owns the place and couldn't give a sh-t. Go somewhere else.
The service was so bad it distracted from the quality food. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. Too bad this used to be my go to sushi restaurant
One of the best if not the best places for sushi. Portions are great for value and food was 10/10.
