Great sushi... This is probably the most important thing... but the owner Greg is a GREAT food to chat for local restaurants recommendations and such. Frequently, he throws interesting cooked food on the specialties as well as unusual fish.. Last night I had some **** pig along with the sushi, it was fantastic. It's not close to the island... and although I think you can get big sushi at a few places in Seattle and Bellevue that friendly get to know that you service in Sushi Joa puts it up for me. If you don't live on the island, WELL is worth the ride, and if you do.... why are you still reading?? Over there!
I've been dining on my own or with my wife. We have always found the food pleasant and service friendly. The owner is usually there to make sure everything goes smoothly. They often have a special one. Try their special roles on the table as an appetizer or part of dinner, and you will not be disappointed.
I tried several Sushi restaurants in Seattle including high-end to local places. I’ve also had many great sushi in Japan. This place serves pretty good sushi in my standard. Staff is always friendly too. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
The Sushi Shokunin or Koch, Fuji'san made amazing sushis for me that are fresh, herty, original and speachless taste! I've never tasted such a wonderful sushi in my 50 years of life. Unless you eat his sushi, you have to regret a lifetime!
