Came here with family and friends on our NY trip for our first omakase experience. The atmosphere was pleasant but the seating was a bit tight. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We started with the kinoko, gyoza and shrimp tempura appetizers. The mushroom-soy appetizer was the standout of the group. Very tasty and left me wanting more. The gyoza was similar to others I've tried. The shrimp tempura was perfectly made with a nice light batter. But in the end we were here for the sushi omakase. This came in 4 rounds with 3 pieces the first 3 rounds and and a hand roll to finish it off. The wasabi in the yellow fin tuna roll was a bit strong for me but the other pieces were del...

TLDR good Omakase but not filling enough for the priceCame here Saturday night on a date. We originally had a 5pm res but we're running late, and the restaurant was very accommodating in letting us push back to 5:30 (and we were still 10 min late). The restaurant is quite small and unassuming, an extended seating area in the back that we were seated at. The tables are pretty close together, enough that I could hear both parties' conversations around us. We started with a miso soup for each of us and a fish appetizer. Both soups were very flavorful, and we loved the fish too. We then ordered the Omakase for $55 and it came with 3 rounds of 3 pieces each 1 hand roll. The uni and squid really s...

I came here to celebrate my birthday. There are so many sushi spots in this part of Brooklyn. So, so many to choose from, we landed on this one after reading some recent reviews. During the pandemic, it seems like nobody is getting authentic in front of the sushi chef omakase experiences. Nevertheless, we had a wait after our reservation time slot and were seated shortly after in the back of the restaurant and there were so many dividers. The servers (we had like TWO of them for some reason), were confusing us left and right because they were both taking our orders and clearly English was not their primary language so there was an awkward moment here and there when they were taking our orders...

Terrible omekase. I ordered their chef omekase and it was SO OVERPRICED. Posted 8 out of the 12 pieces so see for yourself. Mostly whitefish, two types of mackerel. The fish was SO FISHY, it tasted like it came from Japan and defrosted two weeks ago. By the second plate, I was so disheartened I didn't even take a picture of the last four pieces. For 120$ omekase, there is no king salmon, no scallop, no anago, no ikura, no shrimp, no crab, NOTHING OF VALUE. Uni was subpar. And the oyster.. forget it. 3 out of 6 pieces stank. Makes me sick thinking of the food. Not only that, but through three appetizers, the waiter comes over to puts his hand on my plate, asking if I want to take the last pie... Book a table now

Came here for dinner. Got seated right away. I didn't have reservations but was given a table to sit at. Restaurant was pretty empty when I came. We got the omakase but nothing really stood out to me. I felt very rushed by the waiter who I felt was watching me the whole time waiting for me to finish so he could take our plates away. They also gave very rushed and unclear descriptions of each fish. The fish did taste fresh but really was nothing outstanding. I have had much better omakase elsewhere. Probably would not come back but was glad I got to try it.

No. Just No.Don 't go here if you are looking for quality sushi with nice ambiance. The sushi was just ok Nothing special. We sat at the sushi bar and had an omakase experience The 4 (yes 4) sushi chefs seemed very busy with take out orders, the rest of the restaurant was loud, lots of kids on electronic devices. Not a nice dining experience. Only positive thing is our server was very nice.

Amazing appetizers and sushi… black miso cod to rival nobu. Will definitely be back to try their omakase! I appreciate that they offer high quality sushi at various price points, with standard sushi entrees and more high end omakases quality sushi at different price points.
