Average pretty much sums up Sushi Point. The Food and Average from size and flavour. The service is very Average Its not uncommon to have to wait until you're half way through your food before you can get a staff member so you can ask them for a drink. I have been here a few times and i have never been asked if i would like a drink i have also had to get there attention.
Was looking for a quick dinner before the movies. Staff greeted and seated us in friendly manner. Had a variety of different cold & hot dishes - sushi, spring rolls, crumbed prawns, chicken yakatori , calamari and octopus - very tasty - small servings but were perfect for a light dinner - good value.
Sushi oily and rice strangely sweet tasting (?). No offer of anything to drink. No hot Japanese tea. No pickled ginger. Everything deep fried and cold. Menus sticky and filfthy. Yuck.
Staff friendly but food disappointing. Not much variety. A bit expensive compared to other sushi restaurants.
