"Sushi Tango is a fairly average restaurant, but still a decent place for sushi. I noticed that most dishes were served with a dark sauce and chopped sprouts. It would be nice to have a wider variety of sauces to offer more diverse flavors."

Took my 13 and 16 year olds here for lunch because they LOVE sushi. Our family enjoy sushi. Woodbury has a very limited selection of quality Asian restaurants. Recently, my go to sushi restaurant (Kyatchi in Saint Paul) closed so we were hoping this place would fill the gap. Restaurant appearance: ok. Has the dark black and red open floor plan hip vibe. But the table top we were at was quite sticky. Not sure whether it?s because that?s how the tables are or whether it was caked in with stuff over the years. Service: there appeared to have 3 staff Around the dining area (2 at sushi bar). They were courteous when we did get a hold of them. They just weren?t really receptive to serving customer...

I came to Tango Sushi at the invitation of a good friend and colleague who has been coming here for years, and after my visit, I can understand why. The restaurant is unassuming, but welcoming and filled with an energy of positivity and personal flare. Don't let the looks fool you into thinking this is any old mall restaurant though... My experience was top-notch. The staff were helpful and polite, taking our order quickly and efficiently while maintaining a good balance of attentiveness and distance throughout the meal. The food was divine. The sushi was fresh, textures were perfect, and the flavors rich and thoughtful. At the suggestion of my friend, we had the sashimi dinner platter, frog...

After waiting 20 minutes, I returned to the restaurant and stood near the entrance for about 7 minutes. Eventually, a waitress came over and told me that pickup orders are handled at the bar—something I wish had been clearly indicated on the sign outside. She handed me my order without much conversation. Regarding the food, I found it to be rather average. The edamame cost $6 but came in a very small portion. The spring rolls were mostly filled with rice noodles, containing only a few strips of carrot and a slice of cucumber, which was quite disappointing. On the bright side, the fried soft tofu in shiitake mushroom sauce was quite tasty. I might consider visiting again on a less busy nig... Book a table now

Sushi Tango serves an incredible spicy Southeast Asian take on sushi that I really enjoy. I’m especially fond of their dishes with citrus-infused sauces combined with Thai chilis. I frequent this restaurant and have never been disappointed, although the service can occasionally be slow. The extra spicy oyster shots deliver the perfect amount of heat. Although the seafood larb is somewhat expensive, the flavor is outstanding. I’d suggest passing on the fried rice. Portion sizes can be uneven, and the prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food is unmatched anywhere else I’ve tried.

Everyone raves about this place, for the sushi. Don?t get anything else. I made the mistake of ordering otherwise and paid for it, literally lol. Don?t be tempted to try the others like I did, the beef bulgogi was like wet cardboard soaked in sauce.. and the udon was even worst, it seemed like they stir fried the leftover old scraps from veggie parts they didn?t use. You can get better at a different restaurant. You?ve been warned. The wings were alright, too much wasabi was overwhelming. I was super disappointed because so many people recommended this place. Not for me.

their Korean bulgogi is not Korean bulgogi. It isn?t the right piece of meat usually used, and none of this is what the traditional food is. The orange is very random, and broccoli? my bf really liked their sushi though. But I really recommend not getting this or the mussel. The mussel is just Japanese mayo on top of it. But the customer service was really great. They worked super fast, despite it being so busy. The waitresses and waiters are really good at their job. 5/5 Book a table now
