our family had a positive experience with the departure in sushi wara. the service was fast and friendly. the sashimi was well made, taste, texture and portion. maki was with other quality sushi restaurants, and the special rolling were great (rainbow rolls tell a lot about a facility, and this was very satisfying). gyoza was good too, I'm told. finally there was attention to small details, such as crispy ingwer and gurkenblumen. the website was easy to use for online orders, my only suggestion is that it would be ideal to avoid formal registration (e.g. a guest option or no registration would be better). overall: positive experience and we will eat here again.
the best in the valley! my partner and I ate yesterday in sushi wara and the service was excellent, the eating delicious, and in general it was a vibe. the personal was so sweet, courteous and friendly as they appreciate their customers like family. the chicken yakisoba was amazing, so tasteful and the noodles were chewing and caramelized. the gyoza was the best we had yet, and trust me, we had a lot of gyoza in many different restaurants throughout the bc. maki was fantastic, especially the tamago maki 15/10 would recommend, again dine
Service is always very pleasant and friendly. Food is prepared fast. Lots of options for all kinds of tastes. You can request gluten free soy sauce. We also ordered green tea which I couldn't find on the menu, but you can definitely order. The bento boxes seem like a good idea, but it's a lot of food. Most of the time you're better off ordering a few options to share and you can always order a few more items as you go since they prepare it so quickly.
At Sushi Wara you will enjoy an authentic Japanese experience. I went there twice already and I enjoyed every visit. The chefs use high quality ingredients, the fish is so fresh and tasty. The menu is full of goodies! The service is top notch. And yes, they offer the wild sockeye salmon. I highly recommend Sushi Wara for anybody looking for the real Japanese sushi experience. This is high quality sushi in Comox! Sushi Wars has been one of our families go to for a great meal for a few years now. Great staff and chefs, nice atmosphere, a great place to go for a special meal. I would recommend a reservation for anything over 2 people. Yum.
Sushi Wara offers excellent sushi, nigiri, miso soup, sake, and green tea! The service is top-notch with attentive and authentic Japanese waitstaff. The restaurant is also very clean and inviting.
