Poor customer service and unprofessional staff behaviour (By the manager). A person of the restaurant (swagath sydney)who worked the night of November 30th was unfriendly and quite insulting towards the guest. He replied to us that he was the manger when we asked If we could see the manager.A friend who was with me had asked the manager to increase the heater a little as it was cold and the manager replied that they had no heating vents, which was clearly a lie as they had a air conditioning system which was visible to everyone. The 2nd Indian restaurant I've tried while visiting Sydney over the holidays 2022 and definitely better than the other place tried, not to be named. Here was empty at about 6:30 on Boxing Day. A handful of basic tables, casual atmosphere, lighting quite bright. Friendly server. The first thing my friend ordered (a Tandoori item) was not available. I ordered Palak Chicken and was told they had to ask if it was available. Not a great first impression, but luckily mine was available in the end. We ordered something for breakfast on the phone at 1045 and they said it was closed but they took they order and said u will get it at 1115 once they r open. We reached there by 1120 and the my said that it will take another 30 mins.if they are busy with something else they should have said NO as it would have saved our time. This is not the first time it’s happening to us. We love the food there, but they have to improve their customer service.
Please don't order the Biryani. I ordered and it was really really bad. They mixed very old chicken curry with white rice. The chicken smelled bad and the rice was not even basmati rice.
