"I tried the tiffin combo, and the masala dosa was excellent, accompanied by soft and crispy vada. The sambhar was decent, but the standout was definitely the white coconut chutney—it was the best! The Schezwan paneer rice was flavorful and had a nice kick to it. The decor with pictures on the walls is quite impressive, and the dining area is beautiful and clean. The food was delicious and felt very hygienic."

Two families descened on Swagatham Vegetarian! We love vegetarian restaurants where we don't have to ask if anything on the menu is vegetarian because, everything is! We also love Indian food, so it was a no brainer to give this place a try. Generally speaking we enjoyed the food, though we found it to be a little spicier than we wanted it to be. Often at Indian restaurants the server will ask you to specify how spicy you want your food…they didn’t here and though that might work for some folks, we definitely found some of the dishes too spicy to be able to adequately enjoy. It looked like most other diners were folks from India so kudos to Swagatham for creating an authentic Indian experien...

I decided to try this restaurant on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. While some dishes were just okay, others stood out as truly exceptional, particularly the appetizers and the tikka masala dosa. I didn't encounter any of the negative issues that others mentioned; our meals were served promptly, and everything was definitely worth the wait. As for the spice level, that can vary from person to person. Having lived in London for five years, I find that it’s rare for Indian food in LA to be very spicy. However, my friend, who prefers milder flavors, found the medium spice level to be just right.

Having lived in India for seven months, I must say that during our travels in the USA, we haven't come across any truly authentic Indian cuisine, especially South Indian. This restaurant was such a delightful surprise! Every single dish was amazing! My friends and I ordered five different items, and the portions were generous for a very reasonable price. We all left feeling completely satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
