My partner and i happened upon the Swan returning from home Herefordshire on Valentines day, they were about to shut for lunch but kindly let us order lunch, and we were very happy they did, the food was excellent and cooked perfectly for us, we ordered a 10oz steak each with home made chips which came with lovely fresh salad, coleslaw, fried tomato and garden peas and onion rings, Liam who served us was really polite and friendly and the lady chef came and asked if everything is ok, she was about to go home when we arrived but stayed to cook our excellent meal. I highly recommend The Swan Inn , it is spot on and fairly priced !
The restaurant has an average rating of 4.5 on TripAdvisor, which is accurate as I would rate it a solid 4. I stopped by for a light lunch but they didn't have sandwiches so I returned for dinner. The food was very good value, especially the homemade lasagna and tasty duck and pheasant pie, served with lots of fresh vegetables. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. One strange thing was that they only served wine by the bottle on Saturday nights. Overall, the restaurant has reasonable parking and I would recommend it.
I made a reservation for myself, my partner, and her parents at this restaurant. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, drinks, and the ambiance. Linda and her team are incredible, and everyone raves about Linda's cooking. The food was cooked perfectly, delivered promptly, and the service was outstanding. It's hard to find any faults with their exceptional dedication to high professional standards. Thank you, Linda, we will definitely be returning soon!
We had a lovely meal, all freshly cooked. We had to wait a while as a large table was in, but this was explained at booking so I knew this would be the case. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, you couldn’t ask for nicer and friendlier service. Our food came out hot and fresh, we really enjoyed the relaxed feel of the pub, no loud drinkers or music.. was just what we needed and wanted. We Will absolutely be visiting again!

My family(5 of us) took me to the Swan for a birthday meal lunch.Made welcome minute we entered premises. Nice to see a comprehensive menu rather than a limited one.We had excellent steaks all cooked to perfection with assorted choices of accompaniments and when served it was plentiful and very appealing to the eye. Service by the young waitress was very good.Will definitely bring friends here again. Thank you Linda staff.
Visited last week with a couple of friends, we all had different meals and the general consensus was how clean the premises were, how polite the staff were and the food was very nice and at reasonable prices. Quite a selection of good pub grub which was cooked and presented well. Will probably return when in the area.
Wow what can I say. Table was set up lovely with crackers and the christmas dinner was supperb , start main and pudding all for set price and loads of it, highly recommend. Friendly staff. (Sorry forgot to take pictures of starter's but they were great) left well stuffed.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food, particularly the pizza, was excellent. We had a comfortable night's rest and enjoyed stunning views. The service was impeccable and took good care of us.
