The food did not capture the authentic flavors of Jamaica and felt like a waste of money. It was overwhelmingly salty, unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. It reminded me of the uncomfortable feeling of coming out of a pool and struggling to catch my breath. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary corrections, as the high salt content could be harmful, especially for those with high blood pressure. Personally, I paid too much for what essentially amounted to a box of salt. I hope they hire a skilled cook to give this place a real chance.
I agree with the other reviews— the owner is not very friendly, even after multiple visits, and I’m unhappy with the food. After my last visit, I had to give up. The saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies to their $5 lunch special. I’ll stick with Fireside instead; they treat you better, serve good food, and leave you smiling while spending your money. I recommend skipping this place if you want to keep having a great day.
I truly agree with the others owner, not very nice at all on multiple visits and I'm not happy with the food. I had to surrender after last visit. My in-laws are Jamaican and I have grown accustomed to a certain level of quality in my Jamaican cuisine.This was not it. Maybe since I ordered the lunch special, I didn't get the best this restaurant had to offer, but it was the lure of $5 lunches that brought me here in the first place.The food was bland, cold and may have been left over from another day. I really should have just kept driving.

The upbeat and friendly staff member behind the counter provides excellent customer service! The daily specials drew me in after I found the place closed on a previous visit. The food was flavorful and served in generous lunch portions. I definitely plan to come back to try more dishes from the menu.
A Taste of Home! This food truly brought back memories of home. The flavors were fantastic, and the portions are generous for the price. The spicy beef patties were delicious, and the oxtails were exceptional, while the sides were great as well. I'll definitely return whenever I'm in town again!

I’m so sad to leave such a bad review, but I do not recommend. This food is horrible $14 for a plate of brown stew and it was only 2/3 pieces and the food was gross. I had to throw the entire plate out, this is not authentic Jamaican food. The rice was soggy and my food was just overall bad.

The food was disgusting.everything was super salty and undercooked.and it seems like the meat wasn’t cleaned properly.took one bite and was done and when asked for a refund was told no and spent almost 50 bucks!!!
Super convenient and good service. The owner always greets customers with a smile. Super nice and quick. The deals are really good and the food is delicious. Love this place! I stop by about 2-5 times a month.
