Have you ever dreamed of a bakery hoping to see all of your favorite pastries, cakes, and cookies in one place? Well, Sweet Jill's Bakery is the answer to all of your bakery dreams! My favorite is the mixed berry scone...it's moist, filled with a galore of berries, and is only an even better delight with an extra fat tab of butter and a warm cup of coffee dressed to perfection. Unfortunately, there is a con to this place.. it's situated in California miles and miles away from me! Therein lies the rub. If only Jill would mail me a dozen mixed berry scones, I'd be ever so thankful.
Everything looks incredibly delicious. A for presentation. As for taste, each of the items we got missed the mark.The employee recommended the cinnamon roll. It tasted awful. A very strange consistency and the icing was also difficult to eat. German chocolate brownie had different flavors but dry and not sweet. Peanut butter cup was also dry and not sweet. I will not come back. I rarely am not able to finish something and I really couldn't force myself to take more than a few bites. Pricing is very reasonable.
You can't come to Seal Beach without coming to Sweet Jill's! I love that they are open late. 10pm and want a cupcake? They've got you covered! A nice selection of cookies, sweets and pastries. My boyfriend and I make a habit of dropping by here first, grabbing a coffee across the street at Javatinis, then head to the pier. My favorites are the cupcakes (super sweet though) and the coffee cake. Not a fan of the line out the door now, but I guess our little gem has been discovered!
The carrot cake sandwich was absolutely amazing and was definitely my favorite item that we tried. The cinnamon roll was also tasty, with a subtle hint of maple flavor that I really enjoyed. We also sampled the cinnamon crispy, chocolate chip cookie, and German chocolate cake. I'd like to mention that the lady working there was fantastic with our kids—she was very sweet and had excellent customer service skills. I can't wait to return on our next trip to Seal Beach!

The place was so busy that I thought it must be fantastic, but it turned out to be disappointing. I ordered four different items, and they all tasted like something from a boxed cake mix—similar to what you might find at a friend's bake sale. The chocolate cupcake was hard and dry, which was surprising. I love sweets, but after tasting a little of each item, I'm really not sure why people rave about this place.
This place is the best if you are craving sweets. The walnut cinnamon roll is ? we also love their coffee cakes and assorted bars.CASH ONLY so make sure to bring cash. They do have an ATM on site if you forget... We came here on easter Sunday and they're taking credit/debit cards. According to the cashier they let customers use credit cards on holidays. Not sure if its only at the seal beach location.
An OC must try! Their selections are hugeee and service is always great. My favorites are their brownies and cakes. Snickerdoodle cookie was a bit dry but I'll definitely try other flavors in the future. They have so many options but would love to see GF or vegan options available. Also cash only but they have an atm inside, definitely a solid spot for a sweet treat or two!

Went in for a cinnamon roll and was so disappointed on the very first bite. Pretty stale and when the worker asked me if I wanted some icing I hesitated and she said “it’s just powdered sugar with water” I should’ve trusted my instincts! Very disappointing. I will say that the little story smelled heavenly ?
