It wasn’t until I visited the Arlington location that I realized that the quality of food in McLean is very subpar. The bread on my sandwiches are always hard and I noticed that the smoothies are more frozen yogurt than ingredients. This is not the case at other locations. In Arlington I am greeted at the door and a thank you is passed on before I leave. **For Longer Readers:** I've visited this restaurant several times with my family, and I’ve never been disappointed. Personally, I find the inside seating quite lively, which can be great for creating a vibrant atmosphere, but it’s not ideal for conversations. The establishment is very clean most of the time, and I appreciate the tip jar—I'd rather leave cash when I pay with my card. After all, who doesn’t love cash? The staff works hard and are genuinely dedicated. However, the outdoor seating could use some improvement; the tips left on the tables and chairs could be a bit annoying. Nonetheless, the outdoor area is shaded, making it better for chatting. Overall, I love this place!
I ordered my lunch from work a half an hour in advance and when I got there to pick it up it was gone. They need to have the pick up section a little more organized so people can’t just take orders they didn’t pay for. I am a surgical assistant so I don’t have all day to wait for people to remake salads so I had to leave and go back to work with no lunch. Please just refund my money. I already talked to the cashier he said he will but I’m just making sure no one forgets, thank you.

This is a charming little place. The food and service are good, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. I appreciate that you can dine indoors or enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather permits. The ambiance features a rustic building with a trendy vibe that isn’t over the top. I will definitely return to eat here.
The staff was quite unfriendly. One customer requested a salad instead of kale on her sandwich and received a negative attitude regarding the request. The steak on the salad was overcooked and didn’t taste good. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated.
I like the concept, but the roasted veggies in the Greek Roots salad I had were awful. It was pretty hot inside, too. Although, it was 98 F today. If you have a stroller or wheel chair, forget it. You aren't getting inside without help.
