I saw this restaurant on the Netflix Show Fresh Fried Crispy and was excited to try it out during my next visit to Saint Louis. However it is with much disappointment that I say neither items I ordered had flavor. The chicken sandwich actually gave me an upset stomach. I had to stop eating it bc I felt the bubble guts coming on. Not only did it lack flavor but all I could taste was the Buffalo sauce, which was to heavy on the sandwich and made the bread soggy. If you’re traveling, SweetArt is worth going out of your way for. Use the stop as an excuse to talk a walk around the Botanical Garden or Tower Grove Park. SweetArt makes some of the best food in the city, period. Excellent baked goods, tons of vegan and vegetarian options, and truly delicious, comforting meals at affordable prices. The coffee is not great. The owners and the staff here are all friendly, sweet people. Sometimes the service can be pretty slow, but it’s always worth it.

This place is an absolute gem. While their focus is on vegan food, every non vegan I have taken here has loved their meal as well. The meals are delicious and so are their baked goods! I often buy their baked goods for family get together’s or parties.

I have the spicy chicken battle and it was a great lunch! it was a little expensive for serving, but it is not too bad, especially as it supports a fully vegan black woman in the owned restaurant! I love the area and there are easy parking nearby. Book a table now
