Really used to love this place. Unfortunately, I just had a less than stellar experience this past weekend. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Salad Bowl (kale based salad). The toppings were minimal (especially for a $12 salad). Which was very disappointing. That being said the majority of the salad was kale. Which is fine, however the kale was sandy/gritty. I guess it wasn't fully washed or washed a few times. I could not even eat the salad. At first i thought it may have been the seasoning on the salad, but no it was most certainly sandy. The online ordering was easy and intuitive and that's the main reason they got 2 stars. My order was given to me incomplete and I didn't realize until I got back home, 10 minutes away. I didn't drive back partially because that's another 20 minutes of my life and partially because the workers weren't anywhere close to as friendly as the workers at chic fil a. They weren't rude, they just didn't seem like they cared. Of the 2 items I did receive, 1 was pretty good and the other 1 ended up in the trash. I'll hit up Honeygrow next time, they do a great job over there.
The CYO salad was satisfactory. It was lacking in dressing for the size of the salad, and there was no option to add extra. I would have appreciated a more detailed description of the meat options for the salad, as I am not a fan of dark meat. The Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Hot Honey Mustard were tasty, although the portion size was small for the price. I did appreciate the eco-friendly packaging. Overall, this order was just average.
I have never been to a worse sweetgreen location than this one. When I went, they were out of avocados and bread. The staff didn't seem to take my dairy allergy seriously when I repeatedly told them I did not want cheese on my salad (especially since the salad I ordered didn't even come with cheese). The sweetgreen locations in center city are far superior in comparison.

Almost without fail there is a huge mistake in my order each visit, even when I order in person. I don’t even customize my bowl other than what is provided via the menu as a standard option. How can you completely omit key ingredients, such as the rice or grain in a “crispy rice bowl?” Disappointing service for an otherwise solid establishment.
I really enjoyed my salad. first timer. I had the new hot honey chicken salad. that is a hearty, warm salad. very rich and full. will go perfectly in the autumn. it is a spicy salate, but it gradually add warmth. will come back. loved the environmentally friendly, compostable containers. I need a place to dispose of my container.
The food is always delicious at this restaurant. I just wish the portions were a bit bigger, but the salad was amazing!
