Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

The young guy working the drive thru on Sunday night was wonderful! He was so good at his job and extremely respectful and polite. I wish we got his name but we were very impressed with him. It was between 7-9 pm. I've never had someone working at a fast food restaurant that good with customers... he even gave our puppy a treat! Even though I couldn't eat my burger (because they put a topping on that I can't eat) I was still happy with Harveys. Just maybe have the people dressing the burgers pay closer attention.

You would think a chain like Swiss Chalet could ensure quality across the system. In this case the building is run down, the desk service awful and the food okay. Having said that I got a hair in my salad and when shown to the waitress she just said sorry. If you are going to Swiss Chalet in Cambridge go to Hespler Road. Don't go to this one. It should be closed because it gives the Swiss Chalet a bad name.

I like that we can choose individual condiments. At this last visit the staff seemed more interested in chatting and gossiping with each other rather than serving the customers. Our burgers, fries & rings sat for several minutes under the warming lights as the staff were standing around talking to each other and their friends nearby. The burgers were dried out by the time we received them.

One of those combo Harvey's/Swiss Chalet locations- you can get the full menu from both at the Harvey's side. Burgers were fresh and hot, chicken came out quick and was good as well. Very busy at weekend dinner times ( we beat a huge line... Woohoo) . Recommended as a Canadian staple.

I find that Harvey's makes the best veggie burger going! It's a place where you can build the burger any way you want and that's a great touch!
