If you like to discuss the surroundings and have things to look at while waiting or eating your food this is the place for you. It is delightfully bohemian with friendly staff and great food. Good value for money too. We only stopped for coffee...and scones this time but we were certainly tempted by their lunch menu too. They also do outside catering which I am sure would be tasty too. Only a small establishment but they pack in lots of tasty ideas and generate warmth as you walk in the door. We need to support places like this before they are pushed out by the large companies. We look forward to a return visit /visits!
This is the hidden ' secret ' of Galashiels , when people arrive at the Transport Exchange , its just a few steps away on the right side from the Front Entrance yet unknown unless you look for it what it does ,...is give great food , to order and fresh to takeaway and nice coffee or tea there is a table where you can eat at inside its a small place but there is a large selection of eats and drinks the soup they make is always very nice and tasty you can save a bit of money if you get your coffee her for the train instead of inside the Exchange at ' Born in the Borders '
We have since the express T42 opened used their services on numerous occasions when we need food for an event or meeting, The selection, quality and value for money that we have received and the fact that they deliver to our venue is brilliant,
Stopped in today for a light lunch. Had a lovely soup and sandwich with the Mrs and 5yo son. A few toys kept the little guy entertained along with all the teapots. Food was very good, friendly service and very reasonable. A little gem
