Table Talk is one of my favorite restaurants in Alexandria for breakfast. Their French toast is off the chain. What dreams are made of. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and will tell you that it seems to me that as the day goes on, quality goes down. Breakfast is 100+ five thousand stars. Lunch is good and hearty quality food—but not super remarkable. I’ve only eaten dinner there twice and I wasn’t super impressed. I wasn’t disgusted but I didn’t feel like it was worth what they charge for dinner. Just not great. Stick to breakfast or lunch there and you’ll never regret it. The omelettes are quite oily, and the potatoes are too salty. The omelette was undercooked, even after the owner advised ordering it well done. Eggs should be cooked thoroughly to avoid risks like salmonella or E. coli. On a positive note, the pancakes are very good. The prices are a bit high, but the atmosphere is nice. However, this might not be the best choice for those with health concerns.
Happening place to have a breakfast. Staff was very friendly and polite. Place was clean. We tried Garbage Omelette which came with toast, omelette and boiled potatoes and it was tasty. They dont add much salt in the food, it had to be added separately. Coffee was also refreshing
First off, the food was tasty. Attention to detail was lacking. My eggs were overcooked in my eggs Benedict. My friend didn't receive toast and chips with their meal and had to ask for them. My wife also asked for gravy on the side of her open faced sandwich.

Table Talk is the kind of nostalgic diner that’s becoming rare to find. The generous parking lot is a perfect match for the hearty portion sizes.
First time ever coming here. Definitely will be coming back. The garbage omelette was good. But the home fried potatoes was the absolute best!!
