We visited a beautiful Japanese restaurant for lunch on Wednesday. Despite not being crowded, the waitress greeted us with a smile. However, I didn't feel entirely comfortable during our visit. We ordered a sushi combination that included thunfish, bronzino, yellowtail, shrimp, salmon, eel, albacore, and a Hamanegi roll. Additionally, we had edamame, fried dumplings, fried oysters, yakitori, and miso soup. Overall, the dishes were tasty, especially the fried oysters which were juicy and fresh. The bark roll was particularly delicious and came with plenty of spicy tuna. The miso soup was a bit too salty for my liking, but I enjoyed the soybeans.

This restaurant serves delicious, authentic Japanese cuisine that I highly recommend to anyone in the area. I drove an hour to try it and it was definitely worth it. The gindara misoyaki and grilled salmon were both stunning, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The lunch special chirashi was also wonderful. It was my first time trying uni and it was very good. My mom really enjoyed her bento box and the shrimp tempura. Even though we were too full to eat dessert, we took the cheesecake home to enjoy later.

I had a surprisingly delightful experience at this sushi restaurant in Virginia. The exterior of the place may not be much to look at, but the food was excellent. I ordered the regular sushi dinner and nabeyaki udon. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the nabeyaki udon was hot and flavorful. I would suggest avoiding the weekend dinner rush, as they tend to be quite busy. Overall, I had a great time and definitely plan on returning soon. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Solid spot for Japanese food. Ordered some fried oysters and scallops to start which were perfectly cooked with a nice crispy outside. For my main entree, I did the katsudon which was also very good. Also managed to snag a yellowtail nigiri which was probably the freshest sushi I 've had in awhile. Definitely made me regret not order more sushi. Service was good and no issues parking in their parking lot. Would definitely return if I 'm ever in the area again. 'Til next time, Book a table now

It is a very nice Japanese restaurant. We went there for a lunch on Wednesday. There were not many customers. The waitress welcomed us. She smiled. But I didn?t feel very comfortable. It was weird. We ordered a sushi combination of tuna, bronzino, yellowtail, shrimp, salmon, eel, albacore and a hamanegi roll, edmame, fried dumplings, fried oysters, yakiyori, and beef pot. Generally speaking, they all tasted good, especially the fried oysters, very juicy and fresh. The beef

As always, fantastic and attentive service, without being obtrusive. I brought my dad here for his birthday and we had a gorgeous dinner of the freshest sushi, miso soup, tempura, croquettes, and a beef entree for my dad. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. I've been coming to Tachibana for years, and will continue to recommend it as a great place for quality sushi and Japanese cuisine. Regrettably the sushi bar has still not reopened since the pandemic, and

Surprisingly delightful sushi spot in VA. The place doesn?t look much from outside, but the food was outstanding. I ordered regular Sushi dinner and Nabeyaki Udon. Sushi was fresh and very flavorful and the nabeyaki udon was hot and delicious. They are usually busy during the weekend dinner service, so I would avoid that time. Overall, I had a great experience and definitely plan to come back soon. Highly recommended if you are around the area!

I should have gotten takeout instead. The food was good but there was a long wait. We only ordered 4 rolls but waited for nearly 30 minutes. The smoked salmon in the New York roll was overly salty. I enjoyed the crunchy texture of the spicy salmon, and the spicy scallops were the highlight. I would recommend this place overall. Book a table now

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The flavors reminded me of being back in Japan, it was very authentic. The staff was exceptionally friendly and quick. The food arrived promptly even during peak hours. I will definitely be coming back when I am in the area again!
