I typically have a quick experience at Taco Bell on Pleasant Grove, often in and out in less than five minutes. However, today was a different situation. I was asked to pull into a parking spot for just two Beefy Five Layer Burritos. A young female employee explained that lobby orders were slowing them down. Considering there were only two cars in the lot, it didn’t seem like they were overwhelmed. Since my lunch break is only 30 minutes, quick service is crucial for me. While the older staff members are usually excellent, today’s experience did not meet the standards of how a restaurant should operate.
This location used to be great. I feel like it’s gone downhill over the last couple years. Food is sometimes fine. Other times not so great. Missing items seem to be a common thing. Service isn’t very friendly anymore. The outside order screen has been broken for about a year. Nobody really seems to care at this location. I go to the Foothills Blvd or Sunset Blvd locations if I can help it.
The tortillas were quite disappointing. They were old and tough, making them almost impossible to bite into. Mexican restaurants are expected to serve fresh tortillas daily, so this was a letdown. I paid over $4 for them, and they certainly didn't live up to that price. It seems like the premium cost might be going towards the manager's new Porsche instead.
This restaurant has really declined in quality. When you place an order at the self-service kiosks, the staff appears to completely overlook customers in the lobby. Additionally, every order I've gotten through the drive-thru has been either wrong or missing items.

This restaurant isn't particularly remarkable. The food is what you would typically expect. However, it's conveniently located near the freeway, making it easy to reach.
Amazing Taco Bell! They got my order exactly right, and the spicy potato soft tacos were delicious and the perfect size.
The burritos were dry inside and not enough filled. A lot of rice with little beans and small veggie burrito...
While fast food may not be the healthiest choice for anyone, Taco Bell certainly delivers on taste.
