I've been visiting this restaurant for a while now, but I've consistently experienced poor service. The tacos are really just shells with a small amount of meat, without any lettuce and hardly any cheese. If you ask to add extra ingredients, they won’t help you and will still charge you. I frequently find missing items in my orders, and the food is carelessly packed in the bag, which indicates a lack of care for customers. I would suggest avoiding this location and heading to the one on Folsom Boulevard instead, as the food quality and service there are significantly better.
This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I arrived at this Taco Bell around 2:00 pm for lunch and immediately noticed everyone behind the counter rushing to keep up. Then I heard a loud screech from the back, and saw the manager yelling at her teenage employees. She slammed doors and continued to shout at them. My food took 30 minutes to arrive—not the staff’s fault, as they were clearly under a lot of pressure—but I had to endure this grown woman berating these young workers. She was harsh and completely undeserving of her position.
I've been to this Taco Bell location about five times and have run into some frustrating problems. It was closed without any notice twice, and on two other visits, I discovered it was cash-only with no prior warning. They almost never have the menu items I want in stock. Recently, I ordered a burrito that was only about a third full. I like Taco Bell and want to support minimum wage workers, but this particular location seems poorly managed. The staff is always friendly, but management clearly struggles to keep things running smoothly.
I am a huge fan of Taco Bell—it's definitely my favorite fast food spot! I want to provide an update: this location has overcome its previous challenges and has made great strides. The new staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic. Moreover, the quality of the food has improved significantly. I really appreciate these changes, especially since this Taco Bell is the closest one to me. Thank you for transforming my favorite guilty pleasure into a wonderful experience!
