I absolutely adore this restaurant! The tacos are not only delicious, but also reasonably priced. My go-to choices are the mahi mahi (with an amazing sauce) and al pastor, but there are still plenty of options on the menu I have yet to try. The service is exceptional, with the owner being incredibly kind and friendly. I also appreciate the complimentary chips and salsa. The happy hour specials on select tacos and drinks are a great deal as well.
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The food at this restaurant was amazing. My husband and I live in Stafford and came up to DC for our Marine Corps ball. We decided to grab lunch and stumbled upon this gem. The only downside is that now whenever I crave good Mexican food, I'll have to make the trip to DC! Everything from the service to the guacamole, tacos, and mojitos was outstanding. I can't wait to return.
This is the kind of place where you know just from looking at it, it will either be the worst or the best.Happy to say it's the latter. Amazing, fresh food. Super friendly staff. I dare you to walk out of here not happy.The spice level is very bearable (we're European, so not really used to spicy-spicy), so don't be afraid of the 2 peppers items.
As a party of 4 we had multiple dishes and tacos and everything was well liked. The salsa was nice and savory with a bit of smokey flavor. The beef tacos was my favorite with a nice little touch of habenero. The tortilla was perfect, sturdy, and fresh! The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. We will definitely be back! Amazing taco shop within easy walking distance from the National Zoo. We loved our food, the atmosphere was pleasant, and service was fantastic. We went here because of good Google reviews, and happy we did.Note this restaurant is not very visible, and hard to find from across the street. Look ? and you won’t regret it.
I ordered a shrimp salad and Birria tacos. The tacos were satisfactory, but the salad made me feel sick all night. The shrimp was old, tough, and had a strong fishy taste. The salad greens were wilted and overpowered by dressing. It did not come with a taco salad shell either. Overall, the meal was disappointing.
This place was top notch!! We enjoyed every single thing we had!! The carne asada tacos were some of the best I've ever had and the mojito did not disappoint. Sad that it's about an hour from my house but looks like whenever I'm in DC this is where I'll have lunch!!!
