Looking to enjoy a delicious super burrito? Look no further than this place! It used to be a go-to spot for fast food for us until we moved two years ago. However, during our recent visits last month, we were disappointed with the new way they prepare their burritos. Instead of the traditional long burrito filled with layers of meat, tomato, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce, they now serve a square-shaped burrito with salad on one end and meat on the other. When I asked if they could make it long like before, they politely nodded but still served us the square burrito. It was not what we had hoped for. Additionally, the nachos were soggy from the salsa. Unfortunately, we will not be returning...
I agree with the previous reviewer. This might resemble Mexican, but far from it. Some kind of imitation, want to be, but definitely not Mexican. I ordered the steak burrito plate which included some rice, guacamole, fried beans and steak. It tasted worse than frozen food. I got the order super quickly, which in retrospect, made me realize everything is pre made and nothing fresh at least, that's how it tasted. As I was trying to give the rice a chance, it dawned on me... the taste reminded me of dry instant rice boxes you buy and make yourself... something like the Louisiana dirty rice, but nasty tasting! The price was under $10CAD, but not worthwhile for what we got. Though I was hungry an...
The restaurant appears to have new management, resulting in a noticeable improvement in both service and food quality. The prices are reasonable and special orders are accommodated well. Unfortunately, vouchers can only be used for dine-in and not for Skipthedishes delivery. I highly recommend trying their taco salad with beef and sour cream - a delicious meal made with fresh ingredients. A unique concept is the option to "turn" the paper plate into a lid, effectively creating a bowl for easier eating and mixing with the sour cream. Overall, a great option for dining out.
The restaurant offers a special deal almost every day. It is easy to order a vegetarian dish or salad and keep up with your messages. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
