I am thrilled that I discovered this restaurant today. The vibrant teal sign immediately grabbed my attention. Tacoria has been established here for about a year. Located in New Jersey, I believe this place has the potential to become popular nationwide. It exudes authenticity; the street corn transport me back to Mexico. The interior design is meticulously planned, with a striking wall mural adding to the ambiance. The Aqua Frescas are incredibly delicious. Following a recommendation, I tried the steak taco and was not disappointed. The authentic chips were also a highlight of my meal.
I have revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars and will update if anything changes. It has been some time since my last visit, but I decided to give this restaurant another try. I must say, the food is quite delicious (better than Chipotle, which I enjoy). The manager reached out to me and the staff made an effort to correct the issues from my previous experience. I will definitely be returning in the future. The food is great when they get it right, but I have only had a 50% success rate with my orders so far.
As a Yelp Elite I received a complimentary entree drink. I brought my wife with me so we can try this place out. As soon as we walked up to the counter we were greeted by John, he took the time to explain to us the ordering process, so here's how it goes: 1) Choose a main dish, 2) Add a protein, 3) Choose a small bite (side dish/app) and finally a drink. Went here with a couple friends. It was great! We got nachos for the table and they were pretty loaded and definitely good for 4 guys. I ordered the Carne asada, Al pastor and pollo tinga tacos. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but still good since they have 4 tasty sauces to make up for it. The carne asada and al pastor were delicious. This restaurant is far superior to the nearby fast food chains. I always make a pit stop here for a burrito when I'm driving down 17. The menu has a great variety of tasty flavors. The Mexican street corn is especially delicious. However, the seating leaves something to be desired. The uncomfortable benches and awkward layout can make it difficult to find your own space. It would have been more efficient if they rearranged things differently.
The food was satisfactory. I ordered through Uber Eats and my order was accurate, except for the fact that I paid extra for one of each sauce and only received one teaspoon of each. I would not have expected this, even if the sauces were complimentary with my meal. This is an easy fix, and I hope they improve for future orders.
Funky space. Al Pastor Tacos and Burrito Box with Carne Asada. Golden Avocado and Chips and Pico de Gallo. Everything was good. The Best Salsas were the Valentina and Habanero. Guava Basil Fresca was delicious! It's like an upscale TacoBell/Chipotle. Still Americanized Mexican food though.
Great overall vibe... you wouldn't expect it from the outside, but as soon as you step inside its a completely different kinda spot. I think their sauces surprised me the most, but the staff was really informative and pleasant as well!

I recently tried the beyond tacorizo tacos and they were delicious. They were so good that I decided to order more, so I tried the brussel sprout ones as well. Now, I can't decide which tacos I liked better.
Most places would just offer us a bean burrito which is fine but they have beyond meat and vegan aoli and their tacos and burritos taste great.
