I ordered from Uber Eats around 8pm and the jerk chicken was delicious. However, I was disappointed by the Mac and cheese as it was bland and dry. The rice also tasted old with hard pieces throughout. The oxtail was good but the pieces were small and felt overpriced. Overall, I felt like I was paying too much for the amount of meat on the bones.
I eat from here almost every afternoon. And I try to order different items on the menu. So I absolutely love this place. The service is good and I have no complaints. I'm not from New Jersey so this tastes like home. I've never dined in this restaurant always take out, but the amount of food in a medium platter is more than enough.
This was my first time ordering from Tropics and I love it!! My delivery took 20 minutes and my food was still hot. I got the curry goat and a carrot juice. The goat was so tender and juicy. And the carrot juice was so fresh. Definitely ordering again!

Food was spoil by the lemonade spilling all over and into the bag, so half the order was ruined. However, to be fair the part of the food that did get ruined was pretty good.
The stew chicken and rice was DELICIOUS, I just didn't get my cake slice and I was really in need of something sweet. Major disappointment which is why I gave 4 of 4 stars.
Ordered goat they gave me beef, maybe it was a mistake or they were trying to pass off beef as goat. Regardless it was dry and not very good Book a table now
