I was in absolute AWE of this place! Especially as being the perfect dinner spot as we were on our way to a cottage. The atmosphere, staff and location were impeccable. My ONLY note was the pork chops that I ordered. The meat had no taste at all, and I had my partner try it as well to see if it was just me, but he also couldn’t taste anything. The apple sauce on the side also felt way too sweet for me in contrast to the rest of the dish- I think a more mild version of it would have gone nicely. Other than that, drinks etc great and my partner loved his cheddar cheese burger. Will definitely be returning!
My only issue was how long it took to be seated. 30 mins but there was a sign saying short staffed because of covid. I do enjoy sitting outside on the water on Georgian Bay. The cruise ship, planes so lots to look at. Beer was cold and service was ok. Hubby said fish was tasty. I had a burger, nice and juicy and was not a frozen patty. Lots of garnishes and fries served hot. Will be back. Covid will have to end soon and this place would be a great place to work. Found photos of our 1st visit too, ceasar salad and wings. Also good. My sister was not thrilled with her sandwich but over it was good.
I gave this restaurant 4 stars only because there is often a lineup to get in. The outdoor patio part could use a few more umbrellas. The food though is really good. Their soup of the day is a favourite. Portions are plentiful and nicely presented. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. It’s on the water at Parry Sound Harbour. The float planes land and take off right there. People watching is fun. I would definitely recommend dining there this summer.
We had a wonderful dining experience! The meal was excellent, and the staff were fantastic—fast and friendly service throughout our visit. I started with the daily carrot soup, followed by a beef brisket sandwich and a lovely Greek salad on the side. My wife enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad, while my mother-in-law had the delicious fish and chips. It was nearly a perfect meal and a warm, inviting escape from the unpleasant weather outside. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a bite to eat. The host was pleasant and seated us. She gave us menus and said a server would be with us shortly. After 15 minutes the host noticed we still hadn’t been served. She left and after another 5 minutes and seeing other people get seated and served we decided to leave. It was steady but not full and no shortage of staff. Sorry but I can’t give a good review based on this experience.
The staff at this restaurant is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Despite being relatively understaffed, they managed to efficiently serve nearly half of the full restaurant during lunchtime. Our meals arrived quickly, and the portion sizes were quite generous. Even after just two plates, we found ourselves feeling very full.
Four of us stopped by for dinner on September 1/23 by boat. Docked right out front and got a table on the patio. The waterfront location is fantastic, the service and food were great. Our server Paige was wonderful!! Live music by Sully Burrows was an added bonus. We will be back for sure!!!Food: 5/5
This place is truly wonderful! The terrace location offers a fantastic view of the seaplanes and the bay. Their menu has something to please even the pickiest eater, and the cocktail selection is excellent. Everyone who comes here has a great time! Book a table now
had the burger and fries and it was so good. the patty is huge and the rolls do not fill over. they know they have great personal when they even wear a mask that they can smile with their eyes. in any case would return and recommend.
