I usually like to dine at this restaurant, but my experience last night was disappointing due to the poor service from the staff. I ordered a medium rare steak, but it was overcooked. When I brought it to their attention, they seemed indifferent and offered no solution. The only times they checked in on me were at the beginning and end of the meal, with no concern in between.
This pub has a nice vibe and welcoming crowd. The food is what you would expect from a typical pub - decent quality at fair prices. While nothing extraordinary, it's a good spot for a casual meal. They offer a good variety of beers and the staff is friendly. Just be warned, it can get pretty loud during football matches, especially when England is playing.
The food is great, freshly cooked good size portions, ,Very friendly and helpful staff. The new owners have certainly done a welcoming refurbishment....
Amazing food and the staff are fantastic. Always pleasant and child friendly. Ate here many a time and also popped in for a wee drink always great....
