We placed a normal size order for 3 people (see picture for everything ordered) and it took over 75 minutes to receive... We saw countless tables and takeaway come and go before we got our food. About 60 min after ordering we inquired about the nowhere to be seen food after which we noticed the kitchen suddenly became more hurried looking. You make your assumptions on what happened if you want. We're guessing they didn't put the order in until after we asked them about it. while staff was friendly and attentive they still need more training. Somehow it took 10 min to bring menu, so we waited for too long and that is why I rate this place 3 star while it maybe deserves 3.5 Menu is good, but food was not very impressive except one thing - grilled mackerel - this one is a must try. Salads and other dishes not to my taste, great choice of sushi and sashimi. I would recommend this place for takeaway mostly.
Tamagawas is a local institution!!! I have been dozens of times over the years. The food is delicious and cheap...i love the curry udon, spider roll and tamagawa roll. They take bookings and it's byo beer and wine. Not a fancy looking place and the service can be questionable at times because they get very busy and sometimes forget dishes but i don't really mind - its worth it!
My partner and I love this place!!! Best Gyoza and Ramen Noodles at amazing prices..wouldn't go to this place for a date night as the ambiance is very bland but the food definitely makes up for it! We order from here atleast 2-3 times a week and the food is always fast and fresh. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GIVE IT TRY!!

It had been a few years since my husband and I visited Tamagawa and we now remember why. Although the food is nice, it's nothing special, the service is slow and the atmosphere lack lustre. We won't be back.
I've never had a disappointing experience at this place. Always fresh clean food, good service and reasonably priced. Lunch or dinner it's a treat.
