had a great meal in this well decorated curry house. if they do not go in the way they expect, has a great atmosphere and the personal is really friendly. the selection of the food was excellent, especially the special area of the menu. for a first timer I had a hard time choice. our meal tasted beautiful, very well cooked and seasoned. the naan was crispy as I like it. all this has been washed out with the obligatory kingfishers. great restaurant and one must visit when in potters bar.
Having ordered takeaway from Tamarind for a long time, tonight I finally took the chance to eat-in there. The food was even better served fresh than when delivered, the staff friendly and the service fantastic. From now on I will stick to visiting in person where possible (although the takeaway food is superb as well). Without a shadow of a doubt the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at (and I have eaten at a lot) and probably the best restaurant in Potters Bar full stop.
from the moment we entered this restaurant, we felt welcome and the personal did everything they could to ensure that we felt comfortable. it was our first visit after we saw positive reviews, we decided to review it. they were clearly barely occupied, but it was not important because the few were there and beyond for us. To be honest, eating was nice. fantastic service, clean, beautiful atmosphere and the best Indian food we have tasted (no word of a lie). we're coming back!
our first visit in the tamarind indian restaurant in potters bar. wow, what a great dinner. all dishes cooked and seasoned to perfection. also, wonderful service through the islam and the rest of the staff. if they like Indian cuisine, then this restaurant is really a must to visit their earliest opportunity. it is not surprising that this place is chosen the best Indian restaurant in hertfordshire. 5-star food, 5-star service. will be back soon.
