Tampopo has recently moved to new premises after spending several years in a nearby arcade. It is now located next to a florist and across the road from its old arcade, which may appeal to fans from their previous location. Tampopo was one of the first restaurants to offer takoyaki, a popular Japanese street food similar to fish balls served on skewers. In addition to bento sets, they also serve udon ramen noodle soup. It is one of the best value restaurants in the area and this review is long overdue. Compared to their old stall, the new premises are a bit darker and sometimes tables are not properly cleaned after previous diners. Tampopo only accepts cash, but there are ATMs nearby. If you...
