I’ve had Indian food all over the USA and England, and this is some of the best I’ve come across. Vegetable Korma is delicious if you’re vegetarian, with the veggie samosas, Tamarind chutney, and some Naan- you’ve got a great meal that is filling and easy, and full of spices. Kids love the chicken tikka masala. The “medium” spicy is pretty spicy- about like “hot” salsa so be advised. This place deserves to be really busy. They are fast and organized with takeout, which is easy to pickup. Before the pandemic, we loved the lunch buffet. Hope to come back for that as soon as our youngest is vaccinated. This place is not flashy looking, but the food is legit good.
Delicious food! Very very good Tikka masala and the naan was absolutely delicious. However, the atmosphere was lacking in that there was no music (it was very quiet), it is located in the basement, and there was no one else there on a Saturday night except us! We were nervous based on our initial observations but the staff was very friendly and the food was really good. I was so happy with my food I was smiling the whole time! Also, they charge you for the naan !! And they give you two big pieces so you really only need one person to order it, then you can share it.
Phenomenal service, delicious food and big portions! I came in extremely hungry and let that fact slip during a conversation with a waitress. To my great surprise, my lamb Rogan Josh arrived before I was done with the complimentary flatbread they brought out! Seeing the surprise on my face, the waitress said: 'you said you were really hungry, and I asked the kitchen to make your dish ASAP '. So considerate. Also, even though I was very hungry and the lamb was amazing, I didn 't finish the food because the portions are so big!
Best Indian food in Chapel Hill. Cozy vibes if you want to dine in. Usually it’ll be just you in there so it feels private. The naan is delicious and so is everything I’ve tried on the menu to date!
