I also ordered chicken tikka masala, but the quality of the chicken was subpar, and the dish was excessively sweet, as if it had been prepared with a bag of sugar. I called the restaurant to share my concerns, but the response I received was quite defensive. The gentleman I spoke with wasn't rude, but he seemed to imply that I was at fault for choosing dishes that were intended to be sweet. In my experience, chili paneer and mixed vegetable tawa are not supposed to be sweet, and surely a chicken tikka masala shouldn’t taste overwhelmingly sugary. I didn't even get the chance to mention that the naan breads were burnt to a crisp because I could sense that my complaint wouldn’t be taken serio...
Good dependable Bangladeshi Restaurant, with a good menu selection which includes all the usual suspects you would expect on a Bangladeshi menu. Both takeaway and eat in options, with the restaurant being a snug fit in all the nooks and cranny’s which the old premises holds. There is a larger room at the back for parties and bigger groups and it runs a Bring Your Own policy on alcohol. My king prawn sagg was perfect. But my friend asked for a recommendation that turn out to be ridiculously hot. Like too hot for me and that’s very unusual. Maybe a mistake?
