we were on a Monday night around approx. 19 o'clock in taormina. almost all tables were occupied, but we got another 4 table for 2 people. the restaurant is simple, but not uncomfortable furnished. the female operation was attentive without being intrusive. We have eaten 2 appetizers then each pizza and pasta. we have not waited long for eating. it tasted very good. the sharp pasta was good for us. at the end there was a grappa on the house. priced for bad nenndorf totally in the frame. a good to very good Italian, to which we like to come back.
I was in this pizzeria by chance during a business trip, we were great! I highly recommend it both for the Italian food very good pizza included, not simple task when you are located here, but also for the reception the sympathy and originality of the family that manages this restaurant really very nice. the location is very nice furnished with goto. the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous and simple. behind the door (or in the summer outside) lies an excellent kitchen according to ancient Italian art. I had calamari livornese, which I loved very much, but for years not got as good as here. because only I order an salat as an appetizer, the service brought two separate tellers so that my partner could also take salat. very friendly and attentive service rounded off the visit. we are coming back!!!
on Sunday evening the restaurant was very well visited and we were glad to have reserved by phone. the food was very tasty, the waiting period was acceptable. the ambiente was "awesome urig", but the window benches could be cleaned again - this was at least my wife noticed :-) price-performance ratio absolutely ok and we like to come back!
we have been able to get a table on a Saturday evening without reservation with luck. the atmosphere of the somewhat angled local, the friendliness of the staff and above all the excellent cuisine have helped us to a relaxed evening.
