After my Yoga, my friends and I decided to get together on one Monday night.I did not know there are Happy Hours menu all day Monday going on at Tap & Barrel.I have ordered Chicken Tacos for $5 (one), and side Tots (fries) $3. My friends ordered Poke $16.95.Their food is okay. Not bad but compared to their portion, it is a bit pricy. Happy Hour menu are very limited and you have only a couple of food to choose from, but their Happy Hour was not too bad. Service is good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I had the pleasure to attend an after-business get-together for my son Matt's company and it was a BLAST!The service was excellent, the drinks continuous, and the delicious food kept coming.It was a stand-up event in the far corner near the outdoor patio and considering the immense size of the Tap & Barrel, it felt very intimate and I enjoyed this.With dozens of beers on tap, a huge menu and multiple seating arrangements, I can't imagine how someone couldn't find a spot to 'call their own'.I can't wait until Matt returns again!Cheers,Paul
They have a very wide variety of locally brewed beer of excellent quality. I had a 20 oz. glass of their “49 Parallel” light beer and a 16 oz. glass of their (nice smooth honey beer, along with a made-to-order hamburger adorned with avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and topped with a fine white cheese on toasted sourdough bread. (I nick-named it “the Pacific Coast Burger” with our waiter, who provided outstanding service. Every item was delicious!
Patio is nice with some views over the Burrard-Inlet towards downtown Vancouver. They offer a good selection of local brews. The menu is limited to the standard fare of items (burgers, salads). Do not expect haute cuisine. Service was efficient and everything we had ordered tasted fresh and good. Check was decent. Book a table now
The service was great as was the food. There was a line up but it did not take long to get a seat. 5 in our group and everyone loved their food. I had a 49th Parallel beer and the food was there before I came close to finishing it. I will be going there again.
This restaurant is a lively and social spot with fantastic people! The renowned pickles are a must-try. Also, don't miss out on the impressive selection of BC beer and wine, as well as the locally sourced dishes that cater to all ages.
My fav place to drink on the North Shore! The food is delicious, the selection of beer and wine on tap is extensive and sourced locally! , and the service is always great. They also have an awesome playlist with 90's rap/hiphop.
