It was only through pure chance that I first visited Tapas Locas and I am ever thankful to the other nearby tapas restaurant who, after booking a table two hours in advance, told us that we hadn 't called, eventually conceded that we did call but had given our table away and then told us to leave as they were too busy to seat us. Many thanks to them for their inefficiency as we then found this real gem of a restaurant instead. One thing is for sure, we didn 't have any unwanted vampires approaching us for the next two days or so. My flatmate and I went on a Wednesday night and we were really impressed. Our selection was vegetarian (various culinary preferences of one or the other made us select a 'tapas routine ' a while ago), portions were generous and generally delicious. Only 3 stars as the potato y dishes (tortillas and patatas bravas) didn 't convince at all and a good tortilla is a must, sorry. Everything else was great. Lovely dry white from Rioja as well. Wir waren an einem Samstag -Abend mit Reservierung dort. Das Essen war ziemlich gut und die Auswahl ok. Allerdings war die ausschließlich spanisch sprechende Bedienung eine solche Katastrophe, dass auch die schönsten Tapas die Stimmung nicht mehr erhellen konnten! Sehr schade, das Essen war wirklich gut. Aber der Service war Horror:vergessene oder falsch gelieferte Gerichte (2x hat irgendein Nebentisch unsere Sachen bekommen),leere Teller standen ewig auf dem Tisch, wir saßen auch lange vor leeren Getränken ....das volle Programm also. Der Knaller bei der Rechnung war dann,dass wir die Getränke, die nicht kamen, aber auf der Rechnung auftauchten, selbst abziehen mussten! Da fällt einem nicht...
We've been there with a group of five and ordered almost half of the whole menue. The food arrived quickly and in brief: every single one of the served dishes was tasty, seemed to be freshly made, was steaming hot and simply enjoyable. Tapas Locas offers a huge variety of Tapas so I would assume that every taste can be met. Moreover, when we finished with the dishes we ordered more bread to tip the remaining sauces.The service seems a little bit to understaffed. I usually go to this place when I want to drink some wine and have something to eat. They have relative good wines for low prices (around 14 Euros for the bottle), the only problem here is that the food isnt quite good. The tapas arent fresh, I have noticed that everytime I have been here. This is a good place to buy a bottle of wine and chat with a friend but the food is not worth a try.
Wir waren zu viert vor ca. 1 Woche dort, nie wieder! Der Service war miserabel die Bedienung verstand kein Wort deutsch so dass wir anstelle von vier Hauptspeisen drei bekamen! Die Qualität des Essens war ebenfalls ungenügend. Eine richtige Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht!
Super Preisleistungs Verhältnisse klasse Tapas und aufmerksamer Service immer wieder gerne ich würde es guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen
