Let me start with the positives: the food is extremely fresh. Now, on to the negatives: everything is overloaded with cilantro and lettuce. I actually enjoy cilantro, but it was just too much this time. The guacamole was runny, which was disappointing. The biggest letdown was the chicken quesadilla, which hardly resembled a quesadilla at all. Instead, it was more like a large taco, overflowing with lettuce, thick tomato slices, and cilantro, with very little chicken or cheese. I ordered this for my child, and she couldn't eat it because it didn’t resemble a quesadilla at all. These are the best tacos you can find! The birria is incredible and seasoned just right. I appreciate the variety of options, such as the Taco de Carnitas and Taco de Bistec, and the Consomé de Birria on the side for dipping is fantastic. They also have many other delicious items that I've tried. Originally from California but now living in New Jersey, these tacos bring back memories of home for me.
The Guacamole Y Totopos, which includes fresh and chunky guacamole served with tortilla chips, was presented in a generous portion! The Taco De Carnitas, made with perfectly seasoned pork, was absolutely delightful! Additionally, the service was remarkably quick, and the overall experience felt genuinely authentic.
The food here was tasty, hot, fresh and delicious! The guy at the counter was extremely nice and welcoming! I'm not from Elizabeth so I didn't know where to go to eat and ended up here! The only issue I encountered was that I placed an order for pickup in an hour, but it was prepared right away, so it ended up being a bit cold. However, it was still delicious and offered a generous portion for the price. The sauce was packed with flavor!
