I don?t have enough good words to say about this place! My family is new to the Rocky Point area and this is one of 2 places to eat in our town and it is TO DIE FOR!!! It taste like a home cooked meal every time!! We?ve had takeout twice and it was ready very quickly and prepared correctly! Tonight we dined in for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious! The homemade salsa is a 10 out of 10, along with the homemade guacamole and queso dip!! It is a family owned establishment, I believe we met the owner and what I assumed is the patriarch of the family. He was so nice, very funny, and you can tell he really cares about his business and the patrons! Cannot wait to go back!!
If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. I've been a regular here for three years, but ever since the new owners took over, the customer service has been terrible! I'm not alone in this opinion; many others in the area feel the same way. I will definitely choose the other Mexican restaurant over this one from now on. The young man who claimed to be the manager was incredibly rude. As someone who has worked as a restaurant manager, I would never treat anyone like that!
The food here is excellent! They are such a friendly staff that will always go above and beyond to serve and make sure you have a great experience. The food and service in this fine decor are amazing! I've been visiting this hidden gem for several months since it's nearby, and it rivals every Mexican restaurant in Wilmington and surroundings! Got takeout here the other night. The rice was bland and the queso tasted burnt. The young girl servicing us was also a bit short tempered, I understand days can sometimes be rough or whatever but you're not supposed to be rude to the customers, specially if they weren't rude first. I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
Me and my husband go to this restaurant quite regularly and we never have a bad experience. When we order our food it tastes fresh every time. We always have the best experience going here and it tastes the most authentic Mexican food around. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
We are so glad we tried Taqueria Durango! Mr. Alejandro and his staff took great care of us : probably the best salsa I?ve ever had. The meals were delicious and the sopapillas were fantastic. We will definitely be back!
