I also thought the prices were a bit high considering the quality of the meat. I’m not criticizing, but after paying, I expected a better dish. However, I believe this place could deserve 4 or maybe even 5 stars for traditional Mexican cuisine. When comparing it to chains like Chipotle, I would rate it a 3—not for quality, but for what I personally seek in a meal. Many would argue that Chipotle doesn’t represent authentic Mexican food.
Amazing food! And the service was amazing too. We ordered pupusas and a dinner platter and it was unreal good. The server took great care of us, explaining menu items we didn't know and went out of her way to help us. We met the owner who stopped and chatted with us. He was super welcoming genuine, and seems like a great guy. They make legitimate Mexican and Central American food, and we loved it. We will be heading back for sure!
This taqueria was solid. The staff was friendly and explained the menu thoroughly to all guests. As I dined in, I was given chips and 3 kinds of salsa and these were delicious. I ordered beef and chicken fajitas, the meat was seasoned well but the rice and beans were not seasoned. The restaurant itself still looked under construction too
We stopped in for a snack/dinner on a Saturday evening. The tacos were very good and the rice was also delicious! I’m always very particular about portion and the flavor on Hispanic food seeing as I am Hispanic myself. We will definitely be going back! Very pleased with the food and service. Book a table now
Every time I eat here, the food and service is always great. Food is made from scratch and homemade. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This is the only place my family ever wants to get take-out from. Easily the best restaurant in West Chicago!
The food and service was amazing! Everything that we ordered was cooked fresh and tasted delicious! I highly recommend trying the huarache or the quesadilla al comal... You won't be disappointed! We will be back!
Little hidden gem in west chicago. Very good and authentic food, the quesabirrias are HUGE! And made with homemade tortillas! The owner Antonio is super friendly and wealcoming. Definitely recommend stoping by!
