This is the first taqueria I have been to since moving here from San Diego, where great Mexican food is common and very traditional. I was really sick with a nasty virus and hadn't been able to eat much for days due to a sore throat. I knew the only thing I had been missing from my care routine was some good ol caldo (soup). I was really nervous about ordering from here but I am so glad I did. I ordered the caldo de pollo, and let me tell you... this cured me. It was so flavorful, the chicken was cooked bone in (literally had two whole drumsticks in the soup) and came with the classic veggies. I started feeling better within hours, I literally cried from relief. This place now has my heart a...

I ordered from Taqueria La Iguana Azul for delivery through DoorDash and chose a wet burrito along with two drinks. When my burrito arrived, it was still warm, but I noticed that the container had tipped over in the delivery bag. I'm not sure if this was due to the way it was packed or something the driver did, but my burrito had shifted to one side, taking the salsa with it. As for the burrito itself, it was just okay. It was a little dry inside, and I wish there had been more salsa on top. When I order a wet burrito, I usually expect it to be more saucy. I paired my burrito with a refreshing strawberry fresa and horchata. I really liked the strawberry fresa—it was perfect for a hot day. Th...
Oh my goodness, have I just discovered my new favorite burrito place? First off, I highly recommend ordering your food to enjoy it at the taqueria so it stays fresh and warm. There are a few tables and seats available for dining inside. Additionally, the lady at the cash register who took our order was incredibly sweet. Now, let's talk about the burritos—pure perfection! I had the Super Burrito with carnitas and refried beans, and it was one of the best carnitas I've ever tasted. The meat was smoky, rich, moist, and absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I also shared an al pastor taco, which I thoroughly enjoyed as well.
This restaurant isn’t the best option for burritos; the rice lacks flavor, and the burritos can be unbalanced and messy. However, the regular tacos are decent. The prices on the menu are misleading and significantly higher than indicated. For instance, the menu taped to the front door and the one on the wall list huevos con chorizo at $10.95, but the actual price is $14.95 before tax. The chorizo is homemade, but it was the worst I’ve ever tasted—completely lacking in flavor and extremely bland. My family and I have tried this place several times, and I’m really disappointed with the food overall. Book a table now
This taqueria is quite good, especially considering it's in Daly City. I'd say it's better than many taquerias in San Francisco for late-night cravings or a quick bite before work. I really enjoy their agua frescas, burrito bowls, and tacos. The service is fast, and the place is clean, which is a big plus!
I really enjoyed my burrito! My only issue was that the carnitas was a bit drier than I prefer. However, I would definitely order from this place again. My fiancé will be trying the Veggie Burrito tonight, so I can't review that yet, but I'm sure it will be fantastic!
The experience was straightforward, but I had a cheese-only corn quesadilla, and the soft taco was absolutely fantastic. The churros were definitely the highlight; you have to eat them right away while they’re still warm to fully appreciate them.
New to the neighborhood and will definitely be returning for more. Some of what we got for our table: nachos, Tortas, and burritos. Mostly all with carnitas, and all were excellent. Be warned that the tortas are massive ???? I totally recommend! Book a table now
I really enjoy this location in Daly City, although the salsa portions from DoorDash are too small, and I often receive the wrong number of containers. Other than that, the food is delicious, and the prices are just right.
I ordered a burrito, but it lacked flavor. The tortilla was stale, and the meat was in large chunks instead of being cut into smaller pieces. Overall, it was disappointing.
